Simpson joined the Osprey Housing Board of Directors in 2019.
Simpson has had a career in property spanning more than 40 years, mainly in commercial development working most recently for Graham and Sibbald and Savills. For the past fifteen years Simpson has been a member of the RICS Dispute Resolution Panel where acts as expert and arbitrator of disputes. While at Savills, Simpson prepared the Aberdeen City Living Report for Aberdeen City Council which looked into existing residential accommodation in Aberdeen city centre and considered methods to encourage additional residential developments. Prior to retiring in September 2019 Simpson was Director and Head of Office of Savills Aberdeen.
